AT 510 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH DAMAGING WINDS MOVED ACROSS VALDOSTA, GA. LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED MULTIPLE TREES AND POWER LINES DOWN...SOME CAUSING DAMAGE TO CARS. LIGHTNING INJURED ONE PERSON.

One of the most intense thunderstorms in over 5 years moved into Tallahassee and lit up the sky with intense lightning for over three hours. Lightning struck a house in Killearn Lakes cause a two story home to catch fire. The fire was contained to the second story and no injuries were reported.
